My Manual Is Too Hard to Read
A customer recently asked me how to use one of our products, and I realized our instructions were much harder to understand than I thought. I had written them for people who already knew the subject. Now I am thinking about professional technical writing services to make the material clearer. Has anyone had technical instructions rewritten before? Did the writer simplify the language without removing important details? I would love to hear what your experience was like and whether the finished document was easier for customers to use.
